OLIVER LEWIS grew up in North Wales and is now based in York.
He works as a bookseller, curates Tidings: Poetry Quarterly, and studies English Literature, with research in contemporary pastoral and ecocritical poetry. As well as publishing essays and reviews in his newsletter, Field Notes, his work has been shortlisted for the Orwell Youth Prize and has appeared in Nowhere Girl Collective, LitMag, Forge Press, Roundhouse Poetry Slam, York Theatre Royal’s Queer Spaces: Live and his talk/workshop on "The Contemporary Pastoral Lyric" for York Poets' Corner is forthcoming. He has toured three poetry shows across the UK: Wisp Thin Skin (2023), Lampoonery of the Shallow (2024), and Reading B-Sides (2025).
