Described as "unconventional and imaginative leaving [the audience] clamouring for more,"* Oliver Lewis brings his new set of spoken word, Lampoonery of the Shallow to York's Micklegate Social. Oliver Lewis, the author of the collections Wisp Thin Skin and Lampoonery of the Shallow, has been shortlisted for the Orwell Youth Prize, which "[s]upports the next generation of socially engaged young writers and thinkers." In 2024, his work appeared in Nowhere Girl Collective. He is a Creative Writing and English Literature student and works as a bookseller in York.
